Travis Crow, PLA

Travis is a third-generation Austinite who understands well the proud Texas heritage that towns and communities of this great state hold dear. Travis has established himself as a leader in graphic illustration since graduating from Texas Tech University in 2007.

Travis worked for a large, high-level landscape architecture firm in Austin for over 11 years. Because of his expertise in designing spaces and his ability to create captivating visual aids for clients, he has been able to work on a wide range of project types, sizes, and locations.

Travis has experience in the analysis and inventory of project sites, the full design process from schematic design through construction documentation, 3D modeling, and hand rendering. Despite having a wide range of abilities, Travis’ specialty is the ability to translate a simple idea into a dynamic graphic representation of a finished project.

Travis’ artistic approach contributes to the direction of his projects, but his material knowledge and understanding of how spaces relate to each other help turn ideas into finished products. With his knowledge of master plans, planting plans, urban design, and neighborhood amenity centers, Travis has contributed to the creation of many concepts and illustrations for projects that have received several awards. His design and implementation in Tanzania for the Kitenga Primary School Playground – Kitenga, Tanzania won a Texas ASLA Merit Award.
