3rd Street Temple

As a primary gateway into Downtown, 3rd Street connects Downtown to all of South Temple. The bridge crosses the railroad tracks, connects multiple neighborhood districts, parks, open spaces, and community services.

A shared-use path can be incorporated with the bridge by removing a vehicle travel lane, creating better access to and from Downtown. At the apex of many recently completed open space improvements and enhancements, its location drives its need for improved functionality and aesthetics.

This project enhances both pedestrian safety and comfort by separating vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
