Central District

The Central and Adams Corridor Plan in Temple, Texas, envisions a revitalized gateway into downtown with enhanced streetscapes and safer pedestrian access. Covey’s design balances efficient vehicular flow with widened sidewalks, planting buffers, and improved street lighting.  

Infill development along Central and Adams is planned to elevate building aesthetics and street presence, with mixed-use buildings boosting activity through added housing and storefronts. This vision has also informed further planning for Temple’s downtown area and gateway elements along the I-35 corridor.
