Storybook Grove

As part of the City of Temple’s Downtown Master Plan and Trails Master Plan, Storybook Grove is a catalyst project to fill a need for active public spaces in downtown Temple.

With property acquired by the City of Temple, the area adjacent to the Temple Library and north of Barton Avenue will be a new sculpture garden themed with characters from children’s literature. Storybook Grove will help the transition between the Civic and North End subdistrict by providing additional public space for workers and residents.

Additionally, the space will provide opportunities for public art, a desired identified by plan holders.
